The story behind the project |
The Pittsburgh Sticker Project originally started as a project for a photography class and has since turned into a mild obsession for the last two years. Wandering around the city I photograph the stickers I find on the streets, like a personal scavenger hunt. I look forward to seeing how this project develops within the Pittsburgh community and eventually a possible expansion outward to other cities.

This blog is out to share a small bit of the city that I love and find fascinating. Each photo will be captioned with the neighborhood that I found the sticker, so you can look for it yourself. When I can I will link to the artist or business the sticker is associated with, to give credit where it's due. If your work is featured on here, I would love the chance to speak with you and feature it as a post here. Otherwise I'd love to hear about locations I should check out.

I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh back in 2010 and have been itching to use my English degree in some way for years. I stayed in Pittsburgh and have worked a variety of jobs to make ends meet. I love the idea of showing people something they may not see and give others the chance to get their work to a larger audience. I hope to let this blog and idea develop into an interesting cooperation and that it will always be a work in progress.
